Vergie Love, an artist born in Haiti, made the move to the United States during adolescence. Raised by a single mother, her mother worked two jobs to provide food for the family, resulting in numerous hours of solitude. It was during this time that she discovered her artistic talent. Engaging in activities such as writing songs and poems, singing, and dancing became her outlets. She frequently participated in dance competitions, fashion shows, modeling, and beauty contests.
Tragically, her beloved mother succumbed to breast cancer when she was in her early twenties. This experience exposed her to the depths of pain, loss, loneliness, as well as moments of joy and passion. Throughout it all, she found solace in the protection, guidance, and love of God.
Having served in the USA Navy, she takes pride in her military background and was honored with the Navy-Marine Corp Achievement Medal. Over the past two decades, she has devoted her focus, energy, and love to her family, raising children, and pursuing a successful career in the medical field.
For her, performing arts serves as an escape from reality. Writing songs has been a therapeutic lifeline throughout the years, and her compositions are a true reflection of her authentic self. She holds hope that her music will resonate with many hearts and offer support to others on their own life journeys.
In 2023, Vergie Love released her second single, titled “Come To Me”, following her debut single, “Amazing You Are”, which was released in March 2022.
