About Menoh
Born in 1999 in Kitami City, Hokkaido, Menoh began singing in small theaters at the age of 8. With a background in Japanese folk, gagaku (ancient court music), and jazz, she gradually developed her own unique sound.
Now based in Tokyo and active with a circle of dedicated volunteers, Menoh creates music that transcends borders, generations, and ideologies. Her stripped-down, emotionally resonant melodies speak to the heart of today’s divided world. Her voice—gentle and intimate like a breath—leaves a lasting impression, staying with listeners long after the final note.
