Gliding smoothly onto New York’s A-List Playlist are two melodic and jazz-infused gems from Annette Hollander with The Mercer Street Studio Band: One Note Samba and Lady Be Good.

One Note Samba, originally composed by Antonio Carlos Jobim, was recorded at PPI Studios in NYC with Chip Fabrizi behind the boards as both sound engineer and percussionist. The track features the talents of Heather Bennett on piano, Marc Daine on guitar, Mike Weatherly on bass, and Annette Hollander delivering silky vocals.

Meanwhile, Lady Be Good is a timeless classic written by George and Ira Gershwin for the film of the same name, reimagined here with Annette’s elegant vocal touch and The Mercer Street Studio Band’s smooth instrumentation.
